Supporting the Whole Child, Not Just the Medical Needs.

Many children receiving skilled nursing care at home also have behavioral or developmental diagnoses that require structured, consistent support. When those needs go unaddressed, even the best nursing care can fall short of what a child truly needs to thrive. At Classic City Home Care, we recognize that a child is more than their medical diagnosis and work to support every dimension of their wellbeing.

Our behavioral support services are delivered by trained Behavioral Support Aides working under a behavior intervention plan developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Our clinical team coordinates closely with the BCBA and your child's physicians to ensure behavioral and medical care work together, not in parallel.

For Children Who May Benefit from Behavioral Support

  • Exhibit behaviors that affect their safety or daily functioning at home
  • Benefit from structured routines, behavioral redirection, and consistent support
  • Receive skilled nursing and have co-occurring behavioral or developmental needs
  • Have a behavior intervention plan in place or are being evaluated for one

  • Structured routines and environmental support strategies

  • Data collection and progress documentation
  • Coordination with supervising BCBA
  • Family training and education on behavioral strategies
  • Support during daily activities, transitions, and routines

Coordinated Care for the Whole Child

We believe the best outcomes happen when every member of a child's care team is working from the same plan. Our behavioral support aides coordinate directly with your child's BCBA supervisor and nursing team, ensuring consistency across every shift and every interaction. When behavioral and medical care are aligned, children do better. Let our team support your child in every way they need.

Coverage

Behavioral support services may be covered for eligible families through Georgia Medicaid programs.

Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP) covers Behavioral Support Aide services for eligible children under 21 as part of an authorized care plan.

Katie Beckett allows children to qualify for Medicaid coverage based on their own needs rather than household income. Families who earn too much for standard Medicaid may still qualify through Katie Beckett.

Private Pay is available for families who need services while awaiting program approval.
